JobSnap ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the JobSnap Chrome Extension and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum data necessary to provide the job tracking service:

Google Account Information: Email, name, and profile picture when you sign in with Google. This is used solely for authentication and synchronization.
Job Application Data: Company name, job title, application status, job link, and notes you choose to track.
Forwarding Email: The custom email address we generate for Gmail auto-forwarding (if you enable the auto-tracking feature).
Usage Data: Anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the extension.

We do not read, store, or access your personal emails, attachments, or any non-job-related content.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide job tracking, reminders, and application management features.
To synchronize your saved jobs across devices when you are signed in.
To improve the product using anonymized, aggregated usage data.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers and in your browser's local storage (for offline use). We use encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to your authenticated Google account only.

4. Third-Party Services

Google OAuth for sign-in.
Supabase for secure data storage and authentication.

Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for them to function.

5. Your Rights

You can delete all your data at any time from the extension settings. You can also request data deletion or access by contacting us at support@jobsnap.online.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or request data deletion, we remove it within 30 days (except where required by law).

7. Children's Privacy

JobSnap is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Significant changes will be notified through the extension or email.
